Here Gil is admiring his daughter's new rocking chair.

This is Gil sitting in his daughter's new rocking chair with Harley and I making sure he does not tip over. You can tell by the amount of dust covering everybody that we have just finish sanding Lexi's chair and it is now ready for the Deft oil.

This is Gil and Harley Bragg. Gil spent two weeks filming the chair making process and Harley was kind enough to come down and help keep things moving at a good pace.

Harley is a retired dentist who lived and worked in California for all of his career and upon retirement moved to Virginia to be closer to his daughter.

This is Gil Grosvenor in the chair we just finished for his daughter Lexi who just had her first baby, Gil's first grand child.

Gil is, without doubt, the most dedicated rocking chair maker I have ever known! It is inspiring simply to work with him as his  energy, enthusiasm, curiosity and desire to master every aspect of the chair making process is without equal.
