To order a rocking chair requires a $2,000 deposit with the balance paid prior to shipping.
Rocking chairs made from exotic woods such as English walnut, highly figured maple or cherry and waterfall bubinga will be more. The increase is based on the cost and delivery of the wood and if I am required to travel pick it up. All chairs are made to fit their new owner perfectly so I will require some information like height and inseam measurements. If you are particularly thin or wide please let me know and I will make the chair accordingly. If you can send a photo that helps me a lot. The 'personality' of the chair is important! I made a chair for a fellow in California who was built like a tank, wide abeam and muscular. Thus, when I made his chair I made all of the parts a little heavier than I would normally and when he sent a photo of himself in his new chair they were a 'perfect match'.
